How long does it take to get approved for a personal
loan with your service?
You can apply for personal loans 24 hours / 7 days per
week. Once you fill out the application, a member
of staff will contact you and hopefully have your loan
approved, in principle, within 24 hours.
Applicants with a good credit rating are normally
contacted via e-mail.
What kind of interest rates should I expect on my
personal loan?
Your credit history and the level of credit risk will
have some influence on the interest rates of your
personal loan.
Will having a co-signer help me get approved for my
personal loans?
DEFINITELY! The probability of getting approved
for your personal loan rises if your co-signer has
respectable credit!
How much can I borrow?
Any amount from £250 to £25,000 depending on your
circumstances.
What can I use the loan for?
These loans can be used for any purpose ... a
holiday, home improvements, getting married, a new car
or consolidating your existing debts.
Can I repay the loan early?
The balance outstanding will be calculated and a rebate
given on the outstanding interest in accordance with the
Consumer Credit Act 1974.
What is the loan APR?
The APR on a loan represents the true cost of a loan to
you. The APR takes into account the loan interest
rate and also any extra charges and makes it easier to
compare loans when borrowing.
Are secured loans easier to obtain approval?
Yes - due to the fact that you are in effect
securing the loan against your home and the fact that
any secured loan taken out can be repaid, you will find
it easier to be approved for this type of loan.
Unsecured loans are more difficult to obtain as they
provide more risk to the loan company.
Why are there so many questions on the application form?
It
is important to gather as much information on all
applicants as possible in order to make a fair and
informed decision. It is important that you answer in
full, all of the questions on the application form as
any error may be the difference between your application
being accepted or turned down. It will also affect
the speed in which your application is processed.
What happens if my loan application is declined?
Occasionally a lender may not wish to provide you with a
loan and this could be for a variety of reasons but the
lender does not have to tell you exactly why you have
been refused. You can, however, ask for the name and
address of any credit reference agency the lender has
used for assessing the loan.
Where can I find
contact details for these Credit Reference Agencies?
Simply navigate to our Credit Reference Agencies page (CRA's)
where you will find full contact and link details.
